World War I Memorial, Tidworth
Bronze, 4' high

The Royal British Legion asked for a smaller than life size figure as a memorial to those billeted locally who had died in the service of their country.
The result is a four-foot high WW1 soldier standing with his kitbag on his return from the front. Despite the pride of his stance, there is the hint of uncertainty in his expression.
